but to use the dipper net spend analogy, he's only costing them c.£25m when you add the courtois fee (£32m) and the kovacic loan (£15m)

From the midlands would Jack Grealish be a Dele Ali type for us not Spurs. He has ability and edge.

Tosin is starting as right back for WBA tonight. Great to see him get a start right away. He will learn loads from this. WBA only have 38% possession after the first half, so it's all about keeping it tight at the back.

Shocking back pass from him nearly led to a goal for Forest. Must say Forest look good so far

maybe you could help bib source a hard copy of the stars & stripes newspaper. the downloadable, pdf version is clearly not good enough for him...

He's moved on - apparently tracking down Mendy on his mini break in St Tropez seeking a personal assurance about his physical and mental preparedness for the season ahead. Odd that they let him go abroad actually - maybe he's injured again and not playing on Sunday after all.

They splashed it last summer with Lukaku's money and that got them nowhere. Doubt it will be any different this time

Pogba reportedly wants a pay rise of £200K a week to reinstate himself as the top earner. Whatever happens, doubt him and Mourinho will have a harmonious season. Hope Ferguson doesn't choke on his porridge and whisky at breakfast reading about this

I don't see the logic in this now, unless we have someone lined up for January and want to leave a foreign spot open.

the club / pep are very fair with fringe players who are presented with opportunities that may be better for their long term career. zinch will be a bit part player at best for us. at wolves he has a chance to be a first team regular.

Fair point, just a bit concerned we're leaving ourselves short.

Maybe we are confident of securing a work permit for Douglas Luiz? In any case, I think our squad is fine without the Zinch. Last season we lost the only player we didn't have any nominal cover for and it turned out alright. In fact, I would say we could do with another forward instead.
