Anyway - how have our loaners faired this season? Heard Louis has done alright, tosins not really been given a chance but he’s not done well when he has been given a go

I think Tosin's played pretty much every game, but he's been moved around the back four - sometimes CB but also left back and right back.
Jack Harrison is doing really good at Leeds (the guy that impressed on the summer tour), but he's 23 and will never make it at our level. We should probably be able to get a few million quids for him, though.

Alex Garcia has actually played more minutes than Louis for Girona. I don't think any of them will make it with us, but we should make good profit on both (god how boring and cynical!). Roberts did quite well after a slow start, but then got a bad injury. He's on is way back now and has got some minutes.

Manu Garcia seems to be doing quite well at Toulouse. He will reach a very high level, but perhaps not our level. A bit like Lopes, perhaps (who's doing well at Monaco).

That's from the top of my head, though. I probably forgotten half of them.

Oh yeah, Nmecha gets to play pretty much every game for Preston, but his stats are woeful. I think he's scored one goal all season. barker is struggling to get game time there.

If that happens I really think we should go and fucking crucify FIFA and UEFA. Go to trial and fuck it.

Not depressed by it to be honest. As long as people don't clamour for those who aren't good enough to be 'given a chance'

a very sensible post, john.
fucking stupid from the club.

Wow. Remember when I was hopeful he'd make it with us.

Is it just me, I dont seem too overly concerned about the potential transfer ban. We have a very young squad capable challenging in all fronts through the duration of ban. My only concern is replacing Fern.

Replacing Fern and a left back is a worry for me. Other than that we are fine.

Saul Niguez anyone?

He's the latest name we've been linked to as Fernandinho's successor, anyone here watch Spanish footie, I've seen him play but didn't really notice him.

I would say he's more than "ok". I think he'd be great in Pep's system.

I think we get the ban we can file an appeal, right? So that takes time. Might be smart if this happens, to press it for the winter window and next summer and have this summer available.

Not always. Chelsea got banned last month and appealed but their appeal was denied. So, their ban starts ASAP (this summer).
