Hoddle really has some nonsensical footballing opinions. Probably because he did something rum in a previous life.
That's pretty hilarious from Hoddle.
Sterling's greatest asset is his ability to get into great positions. The runs he makes are excellent and he is involved in every single attack we make. The reality is with England he will not receive good service from players like Dier or Henderson. Walker playing on the right with him would be a great idea but it seems Southgate wants to play Walker in a back 3 and keep Trippier as the wing back.
Although from a completely selfish point of view, I hope none of the City players play so that they are all fit for us next season.

If England win the world cup they will be the first team to ever win a trophy without a midfield.
Absolutely no hope.

That Shelvey could have some seriously upset relatives in Brum according to the TV series, hope they have word with Baghead.
His weakness as a manager who is prepared to compromise the structure and chances of the team because of personal dislike is contemptible.
How they could allow him to pick only Henderson and Loftus Cheek in central midfield - a donkey and an untried kid - just beyond belief.
