Used to love it when Lee, Bell, Marsh etc were called up.
These days I wish the whole lot had the summer off

There is potential for our players to have extended access to their fellow countrymens ear, encouraging any target Pep may have.... I believe it has worked before?

With the news of Pep's renewed contract then this is what excites !e most. It's not only him staying, it's the knowing that he's gonna be backed with whichever player he wants.

Isn't he French who was going to try for the Spain squad? I don't think I'd want him whispering in my ear

He should've signed the first time round. He'll go to Qatar.

That's good. After being out for so long a large number of games over a short period is just what he needs.

Has Jeremy Corbyn made the squad as well?

well done Bendy
Aymeric was tipped to make the Frog squad after he switched allegiance from Spain - he was called up for the last two qualifying rounds but didn't play and hasn't made it even though Koscielny is injured. Deschamps is a chump.
anyway - Bernardo has made it - never in doubt tho'

Probably will watch some of the games, if there is nothing else on worth watching.
The best thing about it for me will be when its over and hopefully our players have made it through without any major injury.
We have a lot of players going and its hard not to see it having some impact on next season.

Aguero:

“It's the first time in five years that I can flex my left knee well, without it hurting.”
God help the premier league now that he has two working knees

Really gutted Zaba is missing this.
I am with Belgium, but if not, Argentina, I think Messi deserves this.
England, sadly, with that manager ... no chance.
