As far as I can make out the original tweet and the apology have both been removed from Twitter.

He's deleted it apparently. But kept it up long enough, even with people telling him what the bee stood for...

I tweeted in response to Aldridge's tweet earlier to say there's no excuse for it, that if he's going to mock something he should take the time to understand what it is he's mocking.

Been said before and this just reinforces it. Aldridge is the very worst of the dippers ex pundits. Not an ounce of class, empathy, decency, sense of fair play, morality, etc in his bones. Just an out and out cunt of the highest order.
