Wasn't he one of our best players last season? And how many games did he start for Brazil in the world cup?

mate he looked slow. maybe (hopefully) he just needs a rest, but i think age is catching up to him.

I think we definitely need to look at a long term replacement for him mate, but I think he's still got another two season in and out the team.

the Chavs step in

Let Chelsea have him. Sick of dealing with Italian twats. There's better out there.

if he goes to Chelsea i wouldnt mind the rumor thats circulating out there: that we'd go for Pjanic. i think he's quite good and Juve will likely need to sell if they buy Ronaldo plus what they absurdly paid for Douglas Costa.

FWIW - A mate of mine, who to be fair to him is usually reliable and not one for BS, text me last night and said the staff at the CFA got a brief saying there would be restricted access in certain parts of the campus today between 3 and 5pm, and some City's media team were told they may have to work later than normal. Apparently it was the exact same brief they got when previous signings were made. Can't be sure if it's for Jorginho or Mahrez, but either way the signs were that there is/was a new arrival expected at the CFA today.

He's also been saying for weeks that the Jorginho deal is all agreed and he's asked for the number 6 shirt. Likewise 26 is reserved for Mahrez.

Stay calm guys.

No fee agreed with either club and Jorginho is back in Italy. Nothing announced today.

Looks like your mate was right. Very happy it's Mahrez!

Di Marzio now saying he’s close to Chelsea. It may be we couldn’t get this done earlier but the Sarri Jorginho connection was always a danger. Fingers still crossed but officially worried.

Well di Marzio and the rest were wrong about Sarri. Conte signs a two year extension with Chelsea according to Sky News. Perhaps they’re wrong about Jorginho too.

Yep, that is the thing. They are super crowded with defensive midfielders if they sign him. Read that PSG are super interested in him, but no chance they can pay with the FFP lurking around.

So the poor cunt has to go to Chelsea, even though they are no good, no CL. But have offered more money and City said stuff it to De Laurentis

Wonder who's next for us then?

I don't rate Sarri lasting too long with the Chavs either, still if we get Thiago Alcantara it's OK, Weigl, Seri or Lemina maybe less so - but we need to cover Fern for sure

According to Napoli President Jorginho prefers to live in London so is coming to Chelsea. Happy wife happy life I guess. We move on. I was disappointed about Sanchez and we got Mahrez. There are other fish in the sea. Kovacic anyone? Seri maybe? This is a disappointment but it’ll soon be forgotten.
