It is also conflicting in that this is the first time life I've wanted RM to win a game ever.

I'm with PP on this. I'd love to be able to just listen to a Dipper rant on and on about the match for 10 minutes, sympathetically nodding and agreeing, and then ending the conversation by saying "But you lost, though, didn't you?". I think I'd never grow tired of it.
