Well I now have a heavily vested financial interest courtesy of the works sweep stake, £2 a piece for me Iran and Croatia oh and Spain in here too.

Having had no real football since the last day season and virtually no pre-season for us I'm in!!!!!!!!

Got to love a world cup where the games are sensibly available to watch assuming you're in Blighty or European (England have a Sunday afternoon and two midweek evening games).

It's the Beautiful game, where we just hope our lads come home unscathed.

That said, the minute the media cunts start on Raheem is the minute I switch off
