KdB is light years ahead of Kroos.

Kroos was shocking tonight , but his freekick hides this.

Imho he was the only german that showed something at this WC. Shocking for me is Muller, who is fucking my fantasy football chances.

Wow again...Fox post-match saying, and I now see the Sun reporting a crazy mutiny-like situation for Argentina with the players not wanting the manager to pick the lineup.

Arguably the best one since 1994, at least, since I've been really following.

Really? Why is that?

Curious, I find it weird, doesn't really have the "feeling" of a World Cup. From the stadiums that seem like they are all made the same, and the fans that look bored in the stands.

Hands down, for me, 1998 was the best. I can still remember the groups from memory and who played who.

Overlooked 1998 somehow. Whoops. Good point. Okay, since then then. Just the excitement during the group phase, and seeming ability for several nations to plausibly win it, has already trumped any I can recently recall.

2002 had a few lower ranked nations make it far, but then it made it too easy later for top nations and was a bit routine for Brazil following their bottling it in '98.

2006 did have that drama in the final, and a few games that went to pens, but dominant teams were still clear It wasn't as if you felt there were THAT many nations in it to win, and Italy in all honesty played the type of football that was not that exciting rather being more dominant in defence.

2010 was memorable in a few knockout games (Uraguay vs. Ghana and Netherlands vs. Brazil being quite memorable, but the final being so hyped ended up being quite miserable, and I remember more for Nigel's tackle than anything else than Spain getting over the hump.

2014 was decent, but also more memorable for Brazil's collapse, German dominance, hot weather and oddly located stadiums than anything else.

This one is already more intriguing at this stage, but maybe the rest is trash.

Missed some of Belgium v. Tunisia, so watching the replay, but wow...

Lukaku I know is being praised now, but his touch was beyond awful on a ball in the 1st half from KDB he should have scored from.

Forgot he was a Rag and was wondering why I had some deep lying listing of him.

Cheers pal, it unsettles me when I want to punch someone but don't actually know why.

Gosh, you're always so well ahead of the game phips, it's uncanny - scary almost
the prospect that the Argies might beat Nigeria and Croatia might not lose to Iceland didn't seem that unlikely until you emitted your latest prophecy ....
