I just love that Lidl advert, right in the mood for it!

Well I now have a heavily vested financial interest courtesy of the works sweep stake, £2 a piece for me Iran and Croatia   oh and Spain in here too.

Having had no real football since the last day season and virtually no pre-season for us I'm in!!!!!!!!

Got to love a world cup where the games are sensibly available to watch assuming you're in Blighty or European (England have a Sunday afternoon and two midweek evening games).

It's the Beautiful game, where we just hope our lads come home unscathed.

That said, the minute the media cunts start on Raheem is the minute I switch off

Well, we are going to be blessed with the thoughts of Glenn Hoddle so the TV should be off before the ball is even kicked.

So who else is going?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Has to be the first WC ever that I genuinely have zero interest in.
Absolutely sick of the lot of them.
UEFA
FIFA
The Media
Knobhead players
Agendas
Transfer sagas
Scummy Agents.
Even this board is turning into a circus that can be difficult reading at times.

Maybe when it starts I'll get into it,
but really the only thing that will get my mojo back is City starting again in August. The rest is just an annoyance.

It's withdrawal symptoms.
It's like the junkies I see passing the methodone centres in Amiens Street and Johns Road everyday.
When you're used to the good gear, methodone just doesn't do it for you.

For those that are unclear, this is an analogy and I'm not a junkie.

I got Iceland in the sweep. Going to be thunder clapping this summer.

I can see the headline in the sun after they beat Argentina in the first group game.

Picked Spain out in the works sweep, yippeee! Gives me some hope, better than Sweden that JC picked out for me with his dodgy FIFA hot and cold balls!

Well, that's because he's ginger.

Not bad though, 2 City players and no Rags or Dippers in sight.

Serbia- Brazil and Belgium-Tunisia.

That doesn't mean you wouldn't still love to go to World Cup though right?

It's an improvement on those fucling Nivea adverts that's for sure (which purely coincidentally got played around the time of a major tournament with the featured players getting magically selected despite shite form and long term injury)
