A goal is a goal.
That was a goal. He was clearly onside.
Morocco switched off for 5 seconds.

The only question is had the ball gone out for the lead up to the corner.

I take it back Nidge.
I take it you’re talking about the Portugal game. Just seen the highlights now.
This WC is showing how shite VAR can be and how great when it’s used correctly.

Spain were blessed to get a draw but VAR rightly gave them the goal that saved them.

Correct. I'm all in favour of VAR simply to prevent a repeat of our Champs league qtr final legs at home and away. I want it to prevent the ref from cheating again, but who is to say the VAR judges won't cheat too! The Iran game makes you wonder, but the benefits are obvious if used properly as with Spain's late goal.

There is no way VAR could have helped us in the CL . Scousepool got the same German ref in their home game against us as their home game against Roma. The same ref that allowed the Swiss SwingerFest against Serbia.

VAR is like Sony Beta, an expensive waste of time.

Commentators ruin it for me. When someone is hacked down - matey jumped on Ramos's heal taking his boot off - they say no contact. When someone is booked they don't see it. When someone is hit across the face they think they were tripped and vice versa. When Iniesta gives a goal away and keeps fuckin up, they say he's still wonderful.

Come back Sky all is forgiven

The last round in this group really turned into an anticlimax. It's nice to see Mendy getting some game time, though.

I think it was his agent who said after the last game that Sergio would be dropped for this and the tournament will be blamed on him, not the players or manager. The first part has come true.

How Mascherino still gets in this team is beyond belief. He just runs behind players pointing who to pass to. And Higuain looks a mile off the pace. If only Argentina had a world class striker they could play instead.

Isn't that a penalty or indirect freekick for dangerous play? Even though he got the ball you can't rake your studs across someone's face 5 feet above the ground.
