We'll soon get to the point where VAR is used to give 2-3 penalties a game on average. Although this was a fair-and-square penalty, I doubt it would have been given on 4 out of 5 occasions, as from every angle in real time, it looked as if the SK player made contact with the ball.
I don't know about everyone else on here, but the game being so penalty-reliant (if it becomes so) will really reduce my interest in it. While the technology's new, and people may be finding it an exciting technological advancement now, there'll be a point in the near future where the novelty will wear off, and all we'll be left with is a game where most of the goals actually come from penalties.
