Feeling a little nervous, which ain't a bad thing. Columbia have had to work hard for their place after losing their opening game to Japan, which we now know is no disgrace. A good win against Poland, the favourites, and a hard fought result against Senegal whilst we had a final dead-rubber against Belgium where we tested the majority of the first team.

This isn't going to be easy, Columbia will scrap and fight all the way, ensuring all avenues to goal are blocked. But I do think we have it within the team, and management, to make it through. They'll put out a defensive block and hope their front 3/4 can get something on the break, which will be after giving all for the first 20.

Can put lads handle the big occasion? Well, they do it in the PL week-in/week-in, so why not. And the togetherness, that will bring an extra edge ....... hopefully.

To be fair he was never going to dislodge Zabaleta. Perhaps the lad just wanted to play

If a south american player had fallen to the ground like that, you'd be yelling at them to stop being such a diver

Decent first half. Colombia not easy to break down.

Lingard and Sterling have been lively and think Kane will score if we can get the ball to him more.

Alli going off will be no bad thing. I have no idea what value he adds.

I agree. Henderson initiated it and the lad reacted. Fair yellow in my opinion and I think with the introduction of VAR the regulations now need looking at.

A good first half that I expected. We had the majority of play but their dogged determination seen them through. My hesitation with England of late is that we come out in the second as if we've just ate a Sunday Lunch and need half hour.

What was that I've just heard about Sterling?

However, under current regulations the Columbia player should have seen red and that's how VAR can manipulate games.

The ref should've had a view of that incident, it's his fucking game, but we seen the director make the call.

Wow, the pundits on Belgian TV just fucking slaughtered Raheem. I thought that was something only the English press do, but this was savage. And all of them agreed...

"If you can't pull it back with your left foot, you're not a pro-footballer."

"He's running on into problem again."

"They should take Sterling and Ali off. Lindgard's is lively."

If it wasn't in Flemish I could swear air was watching Liverpool or Man U tv.
