I've just made a comment on Facebook about how some people have embarrassed themselves this summer and shown what little they know about football talking about Sterling

Will that come back to haunt?
Kane has to put the ball in the back of the net there, offside or not.
Great block Stonesy!

Kane is an awful finisher.
People saying they want Maguire, fuck me Stones is far better.

100+ PL goals suggests different. But he had an easy pass square to an unmarked team mate, Sterling as it happened, and went for glory himself. Hope that miss doesn’t haunt us

Not really mate. How do we know it's not taken him 600 shots for those 100+ goals?

Croatia coming back into the game, and long balls in the middle from Pickford not going to be the only answer, surely.
Well, somehow get possession after losing it from one of those long balls and create a chance out of it.
But too many misses?

If it takes that many then so be it. Doubt it’s as many as that though. He is greedy, there’s no doubt about it, but all good forwards tend to be that way inclined.

I don't think he's amazing at finishing. Doesn't he take all the pens for Spurs?

If Lingard wasn’t a rag he wouldn’t even be considered for the squad.

His distribution is far better today than against Sweden Tbf

True.
I'd say he has done better when passing to his right trying to find Sterling, who can basically outrun every Croatian defender easily and keeps finding opportunities.
I know they have Kane to try to head it back to the midfield, but that has not appeared to work so well from what I have seen. England keep giving the ball back...reminds me of Hart too much lol.

Stonesenbaur. We've seen it before, he's in that mold again. If he can add consistency, he'll be a world-beater.
After the ball was centred, after the whistle blew...

Also, he's been England's best player this tournament.
