The updated 3 lions is fairly banal. Always preferred the 98 one as it has a clip of the Wembley crowd from the Holland game in 96 with about 80,000 people singing it!

But for me, club football is where it’s at. I struggle to get really excited by International football the same way I do when City are playing. I obviously want England to win but I watch the games without the emotion I get when City play.

But regards to the match tonight, I think we will nullify Modric and that takes a huge part of Croatia away. Plus, they’ve had two tough games going to penalties which must be psychologically as well as physically draining. It’s just our time.

For some reason I'm finding myself angry with all these glory hunting celebrities given us their 'Selfie', telling us all 'it's coming home'. Twats should shut the fuck up!

Anyway, still a little nervous and can't call it either way. They are strong through the middle and attack the ball well. Their defence is decent and they all pull together in the same direction, no individual glory; a little us. They like to defend deep and will rely on Rakatic and Gail Tyldsley to break quickly or to pass those balls out to either the wife or direct upfront.

We know our game and I hope we play to our strengths again. Southgate will have focused the team and will have been methodical with his set-up and tactics. We have a great chance and even if we don't make it, they've done us proud.

Come on England!!!
