I may be wrong but I don't think Giroud even had a shot on target in the whole comp. His presence however completely changed France as an attacking force from when he was subbed on in the first game for Dembele.

Boring and rubbish world cup tournament. Var is a disaster for the game , it will only get worse.

Glad it's all over, it means we get back to the real deal.

Given the precedence in this tournament then I thought he was giving it from as soon as he was alerted but his actions afterwards went against everything we have previously been told.

What needs to happen is the rules now need to be updated to reflect VAR because they are no longer fit for purpose when we see decisions like these.

Give over OD , it was awful .That the final games were ok , doesn't make up for the tosh we were served up until the quarters .

So the next one is being held in November and December with the final a week before Christmas. It'll be interesting to see how that season works out.
