I think most teams are in the same boat with it being a WC year.

Maybe we are. Its unavoidable.

Keep this in mind if we drop points early. As long as we finish real strong then it'll be ok.

Arsenal away is not the ideal start considering our lack of pre-season and the fact Arsenal have had pretty much a full squad for theirs.

But our run of fixtures after that isn’t too bad so if we can get at least a draw in the match then we should be ok.

I’m not fussed about the result again Chelsea on Sunday so we should use it to get some of the players just back to get some match fitness and to play as long as they can last.

Seasons a long one. You never know, our World Cup players getting a bit of rest might be a bonus next spring.

Plus, one of the reasons of pre season is to get the players fit. Well the World Cup players should be fit as a butchers dog and a lot of them will still have a bit of match fitness left as well.

If we don't win the PL this season for some reason I think you'd be hard pushed to pin the blame on our pre season to be honest

Roy Castle Recordbreakers , Centurions, very young team , all competent players. I think pep knows what he is doing. I had my doubts in the first season , but he won many over , changing the emphasis to young, talented, well balanced players.

i don't expect more records , just to see great footy resulting in many victories.

Never had any doubts but the sheer quality of the football and total dominance of the league was just better than could have been expected. Almost unthinkable to expect the same again but I am sure the football will be of the highest quality again and as long as we win something significant I will be a happy bunny again.

Can't be concerned about the pre season as to an extent it's the same for all the relevant teams. Maybe a shame we get the Arse first up as they were least effected but Pep will have us in control even with a few likely missing

Sokratis, Mustafi, & Cech/Ospina behind Elneny/Xhaka? I'm not concerned.

Big season for him.

Brazil were poor, judge him at City, I think his touch and finish last min 100 points goal, top draw from a very young player.
