That's not true, most of the chances we had today were not clear cut chances. Some were difficult.

No it didnt.

We should have had at least 2 penos and their goal shouldnt have stood.

So, the officials cost us 2 points.

Cant believe i had to explain that to you

Atkinson is bent but we helped - poor performances cost us - we all know who but they will improve.

We had concerns before the season. On the early season form, those fears appear to be well founded.

As it goes I don't believe that the referee on his own cost us the win today. Poor decision making, team selection, finishing and good old fashioned bad luck and some great saves also are big factors.

But the fact remains, referees decisions or indeed lack of them, at vital parts in the game, influence the way the game starts to shape and how both teams react. Going a goal down to a goal that shouldnt have stood has a major play on the remaining part of the match. And its also the little things. Free kicks not being given, or 50/50s only going one way, leniancy on cards or indeed being card happy to one side. Not letting the game flow and being overly fussy. All these things can influence the result.

We scored 1 legit goal, Wolves scored 0. That's enough for 3 points. The officials allowed an offside & handball goal to stand. Only possible conclusion is the officials cost us 2 points.

They started with us last season against Everton, but if I remember correctly Pep and the club came out straight away and mad a meal of the decisions and they weren't 'as bad' for a while until later in the season.

In my opinion Pep should have said he didn't agree with Atkinson's decisions and mentioned the rags match last season where Atkinson failed to send off Young and give us a pen.
