Jagielka being sent off? If that is a red card offence I don't think I understand football anymore. Not even a yellow and possibly not even a foul.
interested to know what you would say if that challenge was on de bruyne/silva/kun/foden etc....

A sending off?

I hope Wolves hold on. Got a soft spot for them. I do not have a soft spot for Everton.
City. Always was. Always will be.

Interested to know what you would say if rhat res card was given against Stones, Laporte, Vinnie?
I am genuinely not sure that was a foul. *He won the ball) and can't see it as over forceful or reckless.
Poor Poor decision. If it was given against us I would be furious. ]

You can get sent off for the winning the ball. Its not the 80s. If you endanger the opponent and/or use excessive force even if you win the ball it can be a red.

As for going half way up the lads shin, what rubbish !
He won the ball ( which was in his possession) but he also clearly took the guys out connecting with the lads foot. Foul yes, yellow card yes, Red card ? never. It certainly wasn't intentional, it was a tackle and he didn't dive in . Yellow all day long.

maybe, but not up his shins and a deserved yellow, mainly because he overreached. I have seen thousands of times when that was waved "play on ".

That is not even a foul in my book.
A very good recovery from a heavy touch.

He denied a clear goalscoring outside the box, he had to go.

You can't be 100% about anything to do with football, given your track record.
You're a fucktard.

Hasn't the rule changed where if you're last man but actually go for the ball it's not a red?

Only if a penalty is given, they decided that the awarding of the penalty provides a goalscoring opportunity so offender doesn't get sent off for denying one.
Outside the box they still deny gs opportunity so old rules still apply.
When I was playing that tackle from Jagielka was fine but nowadays any hint of a lunge and you're in trouble, the challenge itself wasn't worthy of a red in itself even under the new interpreatation but the fact that it was outside the box and denying that gs opportunity makes it a red.
