Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

A win and 3 points is always the end product what we want to achieve. All we can do is do that and get all our players back in contention.
Stones and Laporte looked decent in a partnership.
Arsenal away is a tough fixture and we put out a statement that we are still the team to beat.
Gundog had a poor game. As did Mendy. And goal and a few flashes aside, Bernado was quiet.
Razza and Mahrez played well.

First few games is about points on table and building a run. I'm happy with that, a tough away fixture out of the way.

Pep says Mendy is Mendy. Sometimes you want to kill him Sometimes you think what a player we have. But Mendy has many things to improve.
Speaks for many.

Very happy. It's always a difficult away game and it's behind us now with the points in the bag.
We will improve and there's a nice run of games coming up before we play the champions in October.

solid win vs. a fellow Top 6 side (supposedly).
but Ederson and Mendy looked far too lackadaisical and sloppy out there. as if they're resting on their laurels from last season. both are young players so im not surprised by this. wouldnt mind seeing both benched next week (yes i know that means Bravo in goal).
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Great win from a tricky away fixture first up . Clearly as a squad we are not near top gear yet due to players at world cup etc but same for most teams , some very rusty performances today . Mahrez is deffo a slow burner just like Bernado Silva and Leroy Sane last season he just needs a few weeks to fit in . Gundogan is doing my fucking head in , so sloppy ! Dig Dave and KDB fully fit and we will be right on it again , some nice fixtures coming up to get stronger ! CTID

Great to see us win away at the arse a fixture that whenever played in 80's 90's and early 2000's was pretty much a case of how many we'd lose by.
A nice reminder of how far we've come when we've now beaten them 3 times in london this year without conceding.
Not at our best today. Too many errors particularly 2nd half yet we could have still won by a bigger margin.
First 20mins we could have been 3 up.
Bernado will get more game time this season and will continue to improve. I though he was impressive again today.
Ederson's rustiness is hopefully just that
To think we were able to bring on from the bench the likes of KDB, Jesus and Sane shows just how strong we are

Anyone else think that Razza's goal was very reminiscent of Tevez?
I seem to remember him doing a lot of those runs along the outside of the box, then banging them in

Yes get where you are coming from. Tevez was with more power / brutality, razza more finesse / intricacy

Was concerned prior and during the game due to the obvious, but by fuck can we eek out wins. I'm not sure if we got lucky with a few bad decisions by the boys but in the end one of that mattered. 2-0 win away at the Gunners is not to be shifted at, ever.
