Having spent quarter of a billion in 2018 (without exaggerating) I'm beyond a smirk. First game Red Star have won in the comp since 1992.

£39 million on Fabinho, who's making Bakayoko look like Makelele
And despite spending all that money, dippers are saying they need Ox back to be good again. 0 squad depth. If Firmino or Mane gets injured they're fucked.

"Liverpool suffer SHOCK 2-0 loss at Red Star Belgrade" according to the BBC.
I'm not shocked

This never fails to get a laugh from me (May 2016):
“We have reached two finals now this year and hopefully we can finish with a piece of silverware,” continued Milner. “Ultimately that is why I am at the football club, to win trophies.”

Was that their excuse? Sure I heard Klopp tell us that the Dippers actually won at the weekend due to an officiating error!
I can't keep up and feel like I need to light a few candles, maybe off to !ampost to lay a wreath. Help me, I think I'm losing it!
Maybe next year, IL feel better.

At the game last night:
Mate: (on their Virgil van Dyke song) "I don't really like us singing chants about players until they've won some trophies with us first."
Me: "Which of your players have actually won trophies with you, though?"
Mate: (5-10 seconds of silence) "Jordan Henderson."
"Ferguson. Žvaka kurac."
(Ferguson. Chewing-gum cock.)
Old man in a bar in rural Bosnia.

Hasn't Milner won trophies with them? I'm sure he left to win trophies.

THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Dippers remind me of the flat track bully, getting away with it against average teams but when they come up against a more technical and tactical ept team then they falter. I think they've got a nice run of 4 or 5 games now where they should do well but then hit the Rags who, even when they are shit, have the Dippers number.
A couple more games then before they meet the Arse, and then us in the new year so we'll see where all that huff and puff will get them. Seems to me that their only tactic is to decide when to give it 100% for those 10 minutes. Weather that and any team have a chance.
