Watford putting a good result in away from home last night in a sort of relegaton three pointer. Bodes well for a relatively easy "pressure off" game at Scouse2 . Turning out nice innit ?

I think what Zurich is saying, their win at Cardiff last night got them to the magical safety of 40 points, securing another season in the premiership and as a result, no longer have to look over their shoulder.

They play dippers mid week.....

Looking at the fixture list for the remainder of the season it appears Spurs could have a big say on the title and like we will have to rely on Chelsea. Both us and Liverpool play Spurs and Liverpool's only other hard match (on paper) is Chelsea. COYS!

pretty much convinced myself that both the bin dippers and City will drop points in the run in, but not to the likes of Spurs.
It is the relegation fighters that become the most dangerous teams at this stage of the season.
Dippers have to travel to Fulham, Southampton and Cardiff. Will be expected to win all those, i'll be surprised if they win more than one.

We have to visit Fulham, Palace, Burnley and Brighton - the last 3 hopefully wont be as desperate, even so we could slip up at one of those putting a shift in.

Between now and end of Feb we play first in all but 1 game. Do our job and they'll have the pressure of us being only 1 point behind as they kick off. I know we've got Chelsea and Arsenal both at home but they've got the scum away during that run. First game in March we've got Bournemouth at home while they play a derby away at the toffees. My belief is that's when we'll pull away from them! ;)

Just call me Nostradamus! :D

Gonna be some stretch run.

We do have Spurs at home, but so do they. The Chelsea match is also at home.

This was their toughest away fixture and Everton did what we needed them to.

I peg us favourites, by a notch.

I agree both teams will drop points. Hopefully our experience will stand us in good stead. We have players who have won three and two titles. Even Mahrez and Foden have been here before. It might be the difference.

Had a chuckle at this comment on the Guardian:

"Liverpool winning the Premier League is actually what everybody sees before they kill themselves in Bird Box."

I checked the odds the other day and we were close favourites. Just checked again and we are clear favourites, 7/18 for us and 5/2 for them.

We have a sterner test as we have more games to handle but the look in our players eyes compared to theirs is hands down, far the better.

I loved it seeing Pickford wellie the ball long for 90 minutes and NONE of the Scouse2 players or even Klopp twiigged it. That they needed to get the ball on the ground, move it around and take the pressure out of the game until they are ready to attack. Not good enough to be Champions.

Where were their "Star players" today ?

Not one player tried to take control of their play.
