Or it could be argued that the injury is not so bad that he has to spend his time with leg braced and have to stay in bed?

Or he could simply have just wanted to go see it with his mates. That doesn't fit the narrative though.

You missed the point... I was trying to be positive that hopefully it's not a serious injury...

I know you were, the dig wasn't aimed at you.

Hes a big miss but its not going to affect our season at all imo...we have players like Foden who can now come to the fore.

I like Foden, but I do not want to see that much pressure on the kid, we still have Spanish dave though, so not all doom and gloom for me.

don’t think that he will be under any pressure. just that this, unfortunate, situation may actually give him a chance of seeing some meaningful playing time.

I should be included in this, but it seems many of us don’t rate Gundo, huh?

I do still but yes Bernardo and Merlin I assume will be ahead by he’s no slouch as a backup for any side.

Not sure about that. If he starts training fully again in 3 months it's probably late Nov before he is back.

season defining injury.

him missing the Liverpool, Spurs, and United matches is huge.
aside from those 3 matches id like to think we can cope with out him in the league & the entire CL group stage.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

3 months may be worse case scenario, and sometimes these timescales are exaggerated a bit.

I like to think that we can cope without any one particular squad member no matter who.(Possibly not Eddie).
The problem with long term injuries like this, to key players is, it will be interesting to see who else we will be missing
for the key games you mention, due to suspensions or God forbid further injuries due to being kicked off the park.

My real worry is having people sent of in the weeks leading up to the likes of the Liverpool game, to add insult to injury.

I have a feeling we'll turn over the dippers, they will be the favourites to beat us and the pressure is on them. Last season we didnt play our normal game due to being the 'favourites'. Knowing them, I can see them bottling it. As for rags, not too concerned about those mugs

The last time KDB had this injury he missed 9 league games and we won just 4 of them. I'm not sure we are in a better place now to cope. Bernard and Foden are here now but they are not Kev. Fern is 33 now and Merlin 32. Let's see what His Pepness has up his sleeve.

The league game at Dipperland was a ridiculously unusual combination of calamities. And still we got 3.
