I had feeling one of our star players will sustain a bad injury and one of our youngsters will shine through. Here is hoping this comes to fruition and Foden gets his chance and bloody takes it.

I also have a feeling Bernado is going to step up and be sensational (fingers crossed)

In mean time, dippers are going into overdrive thinking this ends our hopes of retaining the title

I thought they won it last year. Or was that the Champions League? Maybe the FA Cup, no hang on, Chelsea won that. Presumably they won the League Cup.

You just can't replace what Kev brings bit we do have options. I wonder if this means we bring Dave back sooner than expected?

Anyway, get well soon you Glorious Ginger Fucker!

No doubt this is damaging as NONE of the suggested deputies are as good. Let's hope it's not as bad as feared.

The good thing is that Bernardo can cover centrally while Sane/Sterling/Mahrez hold down the wings.
Thats assuming Silva occupies the other CM spot. While Dave is out itll likely be the same group as last weekend

Have I missed why Silva is out? I feel like with him in there with fern and one other we’ll be ok. Without both I worry.

It's Foden's time to shine.

I thought he was injured for at least a month as well? Will still have time to get games though.

I'm not in panic mode over this. It's a blow, but we have not exactly been poor (of what I've seen on holiday) without him.

We have very strong depth at that position, and will allow Bernardo to get some time there.

I'd rather this happen now than later in the season.

Clearly a disappointment but with the run of fixtures coming up our squad is more than good enough to manage it.

Bernardo is looking great, Dave is still to come back, Foden has looked at ease in the first team so far, plus Mahrez can help centrally too.

KDB is our star no doubt, but we have lots of high quality cover.

Sanè was on the bench on Sunday. He had one less assist last season than Kev. I'm sure we'll survive.

Or it could be argued that the injury is not so bad that he has to spend his time with leg braced and have to stay in bed?

Or he could simply have just wanted to go see it with his mates. That doesn't fit the narrative though.

You missed the point... I was trying to be positive that hopefully it's not a serious injury...
