Lawro & DC Predictions v Terriers (H)

Postby Wonderwall » Fri Aug 17, 2018 12:02 pm

Lawro was spot on last week and has been on the happy pills since then as he has broken away from his go to scoreline of 2-0 with his prediction this week. I have no idea what Merson has been sniffing, but I wouldnt mind some!

This week's guest with Lawro is singer Tom Grennan, who was on the books of Luton Town, Northampton and Stevenage as a youngster and he is a rag twat.

Lawro says:

As I speak, the full extent of Kevin de Bruyne's knee injury has not been revealed.

It is a blow, but Manchester City have got so many good players that they can cope, although at some stage they will obviously miss him.

Huddersfield lost heavily at home to Chelsea last time out and it is hard to see them preventing a similar scoreline at Etihad Stadium.

Yes, the Terriers drew 0-0 here last season, but City had already won the title by then. You know Huddersfield will park the bus again, but I don't see them holding out for another point.

Lawro's prediction: 3-0
Tom's prediction: 4-0

Merson says:

City have hit the ground running and Huddersfield got slaughtered by Chelsea, they were well beaten at home. This is a different kettle of fish again, I just don't see how they can contain them.

Kevin de Bruyne is a massive miss for City, of course, but they'll still have too much for Huddersfield.

PAUL PREDICTS: 5-0

Interesting one this , I think pep is going to tinker and try a few things to make us even stronger in the long term of the season plus get players fully match fit . Absolute no idea of a starting eleven and never second guess pep .
Not really here

I'm fucking not having that laaa, Lawro predicts anything other than 2-0!

Wonder what he's predicted for the Dippers.
