He needs a goal to take the greediness out of him.
Understandable.
Get that off his mind and maybe he’ll settle down to our way of playing.

He's gash mate and simply doesn't get it , that stupid shot proves it . There will be many opportunities for him to score . 6-1 up or not , always try to make the right decision.

That shot was crap. Foden was on as well so pisses me off even more! I just haven't seen anything from him that makes me think he'll fit in. Even his passing isn't amazing (maybe I've been spoilt with Kev and Dave?).

Mate, the match threads are for people to moan, bitch, grouse, cavil, whine, grumble, carp, whinge, complain and generally get stuff off their chest. LOL Most weeks I find it quite an amusing read, I must admit.

The whole team were great today. Also glad Otamendi didn't get on the field. He's neither use nor ornament.

Sane should have been put through by Jesus but he didn’t get his head up.
He shot into the keeper with Sergio on the six yard line in the first half.
Sergio did the same a few times.

They all do it and it will be ironed out by Pep.

I think with Mahrez, the spotlight is on him and he wants to make an impression but he’s only starting with us and I wouldn’t right him off yet because he’s not up to speed yet.
Bernardo wasn’t up to speed either Last season but looks to be doing pretty fine now.

Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t particularly in favour of buying Mahrez in the first place and he hasn’t overly impressed me although I thought him and Walker tormented Arsenal last week, but they’re crap.

But I think he needs time to bed in and a goal would settle him......

The greedy fncker.

Agree with all of this. The match day thread is for blowing off steam, as you would if you were sat in the stands in between singing on the blues.

Anyone that cries about doesn't have to open the thread.

Oh yeh I know, I wasn't digging him out personally. There was a few that cried before kickoff because people 'moaning'. Dunno why it bothers them, just use the FOE option, that's what it's there for.

The ooooooonly thing I never quite get with Pep is why when we’re 3 goals ahead, he doesn’t bring on the youth earlier or at all. Maybe today he wanted Mahrez to get game time to bring him up to speed faster.

We’ve got 3 fantastic youthies who need time on the pitch.

We have also got a few first teamers who due to World Cup commitments and/or having not played much in the opening few games, need minutes as well. It’s more important at this stage to get these guys up and running and up to speed and confidence before the young boys. Their time will come, of that I’m certain
