Ermm everyone is creaming over the dippers yet we scored more than them. We've not hit form, as long we keep winning its all good

see what you’re saying when we’ve had 10 shots to the dippers one and they’re winning
it’s not about these games just gone, it’s a general thing that we need to be more clinical
said it before and will say it again, we will only ever beat ourselves

Dippers aren’t as clinical as they were last year. Believe me I’ve seen plenty missed in the last three games.
They have plenty of problems of their own Nidge.
For one they are not creating anything near the amount of chances, that we are and that will become a problem.
I’d rather our problem of scoring only 1 in 5 or 6 as long as we create 20 - 30 each game.

don’t disagree
i just find it so frustrating that we create 5 or 6 holy edged chances but then need two worldies to win the game. we should have been 3 up by the time they had their one chance today

And I don’t disagree either, but I would put it down to poorly weighted passes throughout the team as much as bad finishing.

Jesus closes his eyes when he heads the ball - its the only logical explanation how he can fuck them up like he does.

Guardiola said ''3-0 is a good result but we created a lot of chances to score six or seven. It is clear we need to be more clinical,’ he said.
Nigels tackle will be ever so pleased.

While ever we are missing guilt edged chances , We will be wide open to the oppo scoring and knicking a draw or worse . Peps right we need to be way more clinical , today should of been 6 or 7
G D maybe critical at the end of this season .

Couple of things that strike me about the missed chances.
Winning 4/5/6-0 rather than 2/3-0 say, obviously increases the GD which may prove important come May
But it also has the impact of teams really fearing a beating and playing accordingly. In the early part of our winning run last season we were hammering teams 5/6/7 goals. We had an air of invincibility about us which probably saw us home in a couple of those wins. Teams were often beat before they even got off the coach, not dissimilar to what the lesser teams teams in La Liga must feel when playing Madrid and Barcelona.
You can’t win every week 4/5-0. But winning is a habit, as is scoring goals and the more we score the more games we will win.
It frustrates me when we miss good chances, but that’s all. We are still the PL top scorers when all is said and done

I’ll add more of his quotes (I just want you and OD to have another ding dong )). )
"But we were aggressive when we had the ball and we created chances. Today we had many, many clear chances to score and we need to work at scoring more."

i raised the same fucking point last week when we scored 6 but missed another 5 glorious chances
And it was even dumber then.
we get the chance to sit down and have a chat with pep…
what do you think he will say?

Why all the dots negative nige?
Every manager in the fucking league has mentioned the need to be more clinical at some stage. Every last one of them. But if you think pep saying it once quantifies it as being the biggest issue the club faces, then I think that's a little bit sad.
If we score 8 when it should have been 12, he'll still say we should have scored more. It's that obvious it goes without saying.
He wants perfection. In every area. He won't get it, but he'll never stop asking for it.
This is an issues that affects every team in the country. Over the course of last season it affected us the least. I'll take that again this season.

How would you fix it Nigel? What would you advise Pep to do?
I notice Fulham missed a few chances too. How would you advise them?
Attack the argument of the person, not the person of the argument- except Carl.

I watched both games yesterday and would say Liverpool fucked up as many gilt edge chances as we did.
Keep doing what we do, I say. Practice practice practice. When it comes good it will be spectacular.
Important not to concede too many chances and at a guess I’d say we’re not giving up as many as before or as many as other teams.
