Scoring more goals and also, most likely, creating far more chances than any other team.

Chances created is what should be looked at when looking at finishing. Not goals scored.

I agree chances should be looked at, which is why I'm happy we finish enough of them to win matches in style.

We DO need to be ruthless, but 15+ goals a game is unrealistic. (Just as our performance against Norwich was unacceptable). Most times we hit the sweet spot though, and on balance I'm generally happy.

We are always going to score plenty of goals. But missed chances make it harder for ourselves than it needs to be. The Watford game was a prime example. We scored with our first five shots on target. The game was over after 20 minutes. We can then take it easy and not have to worry. Although 3-1 at Everton sounds a breeze it was far from it. Had we took early chances and gone 2-0 up it’s a much different second half.

We have a lot of games coming up and rotation in defence isn’t going to be easy. The centre halves are going to have to play a lot of minutes before the year is out. If we are more clinical in front of goal then the defensive guys can have more of a breather in games.

I do sometimes wonder if the fact we create so many chances plays on our minds? Do they have an attitude of it doesn’t matter so much if I miss one as there’ll be another along soon? Hope not and I know they don’t miss on purpose but lack of pressure sometimes does funny things

Finishing? Lets start by getting some of those massively paid coaching staff members to explain the offside rule to Mr Offside himself.

Making this game (Zagreb at home) much harder than it needs to be because of our finishing. In other games we simply won't have the luxury of missing this number of guilt edge chances

Good response last night, although one or two in the first half left a lot to be desired.

Fuck all wrong with the game dead and buried. Goal difference no problem then trying to tee a teammate up with a confidence boosting goal IMO mate
