He's been a " matchwinner" in some very important games. FA Cup Semi last season, the goal with nearly the last kick of the game for the 100 points the season before. VAR robbed him of being the match winner against Spurs in stoppage time this season.

His miss against Newcastle wasn't as bad as Sterling's in stoppage time or Aguero's against Chelsea when the keeper kicked it straight to him. Yes he's offside far too often but some of his skills, movement and tracking back are superb. His goal ratio isn't too shabby either.

Lets not paper over the cracks - Jesus was super shit and is not to be fucking relied upon to to win us important matches.......he misses shit loads and has to be the worst header of the ball in all the divisions of professional football.

We need another option.

Just goes to show how shit stats can tell a story where as the reality is It’s not just the Chances he misses , it’s the dead cert chances that he misses that irks me - he has cost us important games by not taking them.

We need to sign a top forward in the summer as Jesus will never ever be that top forward

Aguero's our best ever, he's missed dead cert chances that have cost us games. Sterling has done it loads of times , Jesus was at full stretch for his goal yesterday and you still won't give him any credit.

I'm firmly in the "we should score more" camp.

No idea what the stats show, and I only really watch City games, but time and time again I find myself thinking that we should bury more chances.

Of course there is a school of thought that all we need to do is score more goals than the other team, and that's fine when we do, but right now, with the creativity we have, I think we should be scoring at least one more goal per game.
