As you have been told a gazillion times, every one can see it. It happens to every team. EVERY TEAM.

if you ever kicked a ball or played the game enough you'd realise that it's a part of the game. There's no magic wand to "fix" finishing. if there was, we'd see double figure scores in every match.

Players get hot, and players get cold. Sterling has gone cold. The only way to get him hot again, is for him to get on a run again. That happens, by playing him.

I repeat, it happens to every team on the planet, past, present and future. There is no magical cure.

Sory Daz, I and KDB thinks this is bollocks, we are not ruthless enough, FACT.

It does happen to most teams. But we miss some proper howlers, more so I’d say than other teams. And how many times have we all been moaning/shouting as the opposition score with their first and sometimes second shots on target? We still concede very few shots on target yet concede proportionately more goals than we thus should.

There is a magic cure as well. Practice makes perfect as they say and the more you practice the luckier you get. Cliches I know, but they are cliches for a reason. With more practice Sterling and Silva would’ve both got shots off the other night when they failed to do so.

Sadly, though we are the country’s top scorers by some distance, the failure to convert gilt edged chances has cost us dearly in the past especially in the CL and I fear it will continue to haunt us.

I don't know what criteria they use for 'big chance' but here's some stats from the Premier League for comparisons

https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top ... ted?se=210

https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top ... nce_missed

We do indeed miss the most but we also create the most. I've only briefly looked but it appears Liverpool and Chelsea miss a higher percentage of their big chances than City do.

All stats aside, our finishing was at a decent standard the last couple of seasons but we've let it slip this season.

spurs have been on the receiving end of some of our worst finishing in the last couple of years. aggregate score across last season and the home game back in august should be about 25-2 to us. and that is no exaggeration. hopefully we can rekindle the spirit of dzeko on sunday and properly pump those fuckers.

I can live with missing chances, it’s the unwillingness to shoot like Dave against the rags, or shooting instead of passing to the man in the clear like Sterling not passing to Aguero, that annoys me.

When you see it played back you will see that the so called pass he got from sterling was like a fuckign shot at goal...he would have had to connect with it 100% perfectly to score that.

I meant more as a collective as we were 3 on 1 with the goalie out of the equation

Cannot disagree there.
