I hear you but he needs to get used to playing with us. Benching him is not necessarily the way to get the best out of every player in every instance.

Does anyone not remember the whinging on about Bernardo last season?

It’s the only possible reason.
He doesn’t look like he knows how we play.
Out of his depth a bit.

Even though he’s scored a few nice goals from there and created havoc?

Mahrez is not a left sided player nor is Bernardo,
although can and is better so Sterling is more suited for the left.

Pep also I think wants to get Sané to play on the right more because of Mendy. Walker and Mendy are to be the width now that’s why.

Hard to have the same kind of styles on the same side. Sané is suffering most as a result.

Sterling’s best performances for us have always been on the right.

I’m not saying he hasn’t played well today. But he’s a much better player on the right.

This season we’ve moved him to accommodate Mahrez. Mahrez isn’t on the same level and that impacts the team overall.

The particular passage of play was 3 saves by their keeper, not 3 misses.......

It's a game of percentages the more chances you create and all that..... This is our 5th game including the charity shield we have won 3, drawn 1 and winning the 5th you mardy twunt.

Like a third to settle the nerves. Friend would only too happily oblige with a late penalty call for Newcastle given half a chance

I gave him 10 minutes and then left the stadium. Would rather watch paint dry.
