We need to go back to last season’s formation. Sane/Sterling on the wings. Delph at left back.

Gives us more width up front and makes us more secure defensively.

Mahrez and Mendy should be slowly introduced during the season.

- Mendy is a different player than Delph/worse defender/bigger risk taker

- We used Sterling and Sané for width now we use inside forwards.

- No KDB

I wish Pep really did hate African players.

yet we’ve still created 3 glorious chances that should have been finished

Can't believe we've gone in to the season with two strikers. Pure arrogance

Pretty poor so far.
Mendt looks like he’s been found out since Huddersfield.

But we are missing the quick passing in front of their box. Not sure Jesus is up to it yet. I think Sergio is and if we had Kev and Bernie and Dave working it in against teams like this we would open them up.

Get Mahrez off and Bernie on for a start.

Just got back from day at seaside, who's fault was there goal or was it a good goal?

Mendy mostly in my opinion. Walker and Stones didn't cover themselves in glory either.

Pep will be giving them both barrels at half time so lets hope they wake up for the 2nd half

Walker pushes up late to the attacking player who passes the ball to the right so the central defenders move wider right to cover.

Mendy then stays behind them in the middle near the penalty box covering no one, but doesn't bother to help at all to his left (he doesn't even look) where there is no one covering

Jesus tries his best to track back and help as the ball is then crossed to our left side to Yedlin who is known to score these type of goals for USA using his blistering pace and made a good finish blasting it past Ederson.

They've had one shot on goal and scored. So time for a meltdown. We will be ok. Need to see bernado 2nd half.

Not so sure how that was clearly Stones or Laporte's fault.

Because they're both a pair of simpletons.
