Yes, defending a PL trophy is not something I've seen/witnessed Arsenal do. It's incredibly difficult. Teams will certainly up their games v the champions and not so much against the challengers (see 2003, teams playing v us and then playing v Man Utd)

I don't see who your biggest hurdle is in the CL to be honest. Perhaps Barcelona? Bayern if they get their act together? You'll get closer than you did last season, for sure

We haven't been our best yet this season, and we've not been past the semi final, but it could happen if we start to click, we aren't done in by the refs and we don't get the worst draws.

We have a very good chance, but I am not expecting it.

I agree. They were struggling last season in the league towards the end. Only secured 4th on the last day. It was beautifully masked by the fact they were in the CL final. They can't cope with defeat
