Have to agree. Never really impressed and he lacks bottle in the tackle. Was stop start with injuries but don’t think he brings enough to the side to move Bernardo out wide and leave out Sane. Really think it’s time Foden was given a chance to show if he is ready ahead of him.

Can’t be arsed reading back through everything.
Was our goal first half offside.
Was Jesus taken down for a penalty.

Other than that , the first half lineup killed us. Knew it when we saw the team.
Why was Sand and Aguero not on from th the start.

Things started to happen when Gundogan went off and Sterling went out right and Bernardo in the middle. Sane terrified them.

All in all though the team look sparkles.

A lot of work to be done.

And the ground was half empty.

Maybe our time in the headlight are done.
Sheikh dropping out. Pep leaving for sunny spain.
San'e moving on to Leeds.
Tintin calls it a day.
Council reclaim the Ethihad.
Forcing it to be a athletic stadium once again.
Renting Edgley Park next season.
Attendances dropping by it's thousands.
Gaining a hard draw against Burnley.
Meaning relegation.
York here we come!

Or was it a bad day. In a bad week.

Never ever start Fernandinho and Gundogan in Europe ever again.

Arteta isn’t Pep

Delph needs to be banned from shooting and Walker from taking free-kicks

It is pointless bringing Mahrez on on the right if all he is going to do is cut inside every time he gets the ball

Hope not, but that's what it looked like to me.
And as for all this singling out of individual players, it's bollox. It was the entire team.

bent decisions - fucking give it a rest. the ref was decent. if anything, he failed to spot the most obvious pen... that we could have conceded.

Bent decisions in the past, not last night. The ref was spot on in every decision yesterday.

CL is massive to everyone bar us. The atmosphere is like the a first round full members cup. I am not dissing the fans here, but with owners giving us the stuff dreams are made of. Genuinely what can be done to get tus in line with the clubs ambitions to be the best in Europe. Last night was I admit it I cannot be arsed with this I am up at 5.30 today and fucked off at 9.30. Loads were exiting also btw. I am as guilty as charged I just have no interest in it, can't even explain it. Mates said as I left not like you. I have no regrets and if I never attended another CL game as it stands I would not bat an eyelid.

This also.
I hate the Scouse to bits, but the atmosphere was buzzing there with PSG, while here things were exactly as Hazy said.

Also, we really have a problem with this competition since our first ever game with Napoli. We changed the players since, but still we fail to impress.

Yep, we were just shite, can't even win a penalty when it's begging to be won. Jesus just needed to carry on his natural path and the leg Rafael stuck out would've brought him down, instead he decides to dive over it.
