That's a good call. Was thinking the same yesterday. Not that I don't rate Delph, but we get very one dimensional when Mendy is injured.
Actually, I was including Mendy in the left back position when I made that comment. He looks hopeless when it comes to defending. Now Im not saying Walker is the best defender (although, gaffes aside, I do think hes quite good) but hes capable of attacking and defending.
I think we need a left back too. I'm not doubting Mendy or Delph"s ability, but they are both chronically injury prone. I was hoping we would sort that in each of the last 2 windows.

Honest question. For the next month or so until KDB is back, would you rather Gundogan or Milner in midfield?
I know the correct answer is neither, but Pep still seems to insist on Gundogan

If they were cheated the way we were in both legs last season, or if they had their bus smashed up without punishment for the culprits, maybe they would be pissed off with it too. It seems to me that empty seats is a bigger deal than murdering oppo fans, at least in the media.
I missed only my second ever home Champs league match last night. I'm only 30 miles away but spent 4 hours getting to and from the game in the car on Saturday so I wasn't even attempting it last night. This season will be a nightmare for midweek games.
Traffic midweek has been diabolical the last 3 or 4 seasons , this season it is far worse especially travelling in from the 602 / 61 /East Lancs , its then gridlocked from Salford to the city center and Mancunian way truly horrendous day and night . Then there is the utter shambles that is Northern Rail , hopeless ! Absolutely agree a lot of city fans are pissed off with the CL after last seasons shafting by officials , Merseyside Police and LFC . I do think however once we progress from our group into the last 16 City fans will feel the hunger and start to dream of a final in fantastic Madrid sticking two fingers up at UEFA and the media in the process . Its early doors yet but a lot of stuff was out in the open last night and everyone who isn't connected to MCFC is waiting for us to fail , that's how good and powerful we have become we are the envy of English football its up to us blues to wear it well and stay classy .
Not really here
Fuck VAR

Retarded question.
We are missing a central midfielder, he's ginger, he's Belgian and the team is built around him.

But that doesn't mean we're missing Milner mate. I'd rather have a decent player than the both of them, like you say.

Let's not rewrite history Mase, Milner may have been a cunt but he was a very handy player.

The conversation re Milner was about central midfield. Milner was a handy player, Slim, but he was hopeless in the middle for us.

I've always loved jacks of all trades (Sun is still one of my favourite City players) and I still rate Number highly. But in our team and with the way Pep wants us to play, Gundo is by far the better option.

Milner is not the answer! He had a good game against PSG and few in the league, I don't rate PSG in chimps league albeit they have great players, collectively theyre all over the place and their weak league doesn't help their cause. What has Milner won since he left us, despite the hysteria he could retire winning nothing.
I would rather wait and get the right player, he has to be young, one for the future.
We lost yesterday because the team collectively was shambles. I dont think Milner would have made the difference

With ginger KDB we lost in the UCL last year.
That is not the point, the point is that we still need something when it comes down to the UCL.

Attitude is the issue this year.Pep had the team in training on their day off after the Fulham match - says it all.
Sane was not played because of his attitude.
DeBruyne has a superb attitude that shows in his work rate and will to win. We are missing that as much as his unique skill sets.
Next match will be interesting.
FFS. What we were missing in the CL last year was
a level playing field.
Look at both CL matches against the Dippers again. We would have got through if the officials were not under orders.
Simple as that.In our only CL match this year - our attitude caused us to lose.
