Thats my guess which means absolutely nothing.

Because we lost the Lyon match we have to win this one but imo the Liverpool match is bigger and more important.
Without KDB Silva is crucial and he just played most of last weekend so I think he could be rested today. Aguero has foot problems so I think he could be rested for Liverpool too. We have four healthy CBs so rotation makes sense there. Lastly, Walker had a lengthy WC and has played basically every match so far because Danilo has been out. Now that Danilo is back I can see Walker also being rested for Liverpool knowing hes going to go up against Mane and Robertson.

It's either I'm Erik as left back or Sané as wingback. I'm not particularly happy with either.

My bet is that Pep is testing Laporte as left back ahead of the Liverpool game. Don't think he believes Zinchenko can hack it defensively against Salah et al.

Not impressed by that side.
Never like Gundo and Fern starting together... Too negative.
Zinch should be at left back I think, he was impressive at the weekend.
On the plus side...
at least Bernard isn't on the right wing and we still have pace.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

I don't think Sane has played at wing back since his terrible showing there against Everton at the beginning of last season. Made me shudder. Yes, I don't think he fancies Zinc against the dipper attack or the Hoff attack. These are seriously good going forward.
