I know that we don't really have a left back at the moment and that that issue is more pressing, but I think walker is very shaky defensively - I crap my pants every time he's in a one on one and he also flies into reckless tackles (could have had a red tonight). Still, I don't think he does enough going forward to compensate.

I'm not looking for scapegoats, it's just a discussion I think has got lost among the Mendy/Delph/Gundo talk.

walker's not the best but he's nowhere near as useless as gundogan. look at how much we improved the second bernie came on for that shithouse.

You win this competition behind closed doors, there is no way on winning in on the ground, and it is not just with us. Madrid last year was beyond a travesty what they did, it comes to mind only the game with Juventus.
This competition is bent as fuck, a disease rotten from the core that is sold as the theater of dreams worldwide, with millions and millions involved.

Khaldoon and the Spafia, if they ever want this to be ours, they need to decide, get their fucking hands dirty to get protection or waste their money, nerves and patience in something where football comes second and corruption comes first.

No he didn't get lucky Carl. This was about the worst , biased performance i have seen by a Referee, ever. What is Pep , or the team supposed to do about
such a pratt ?

Given the odd ball decisions, yellow cards ( stopping a throw in ffs) the professionalism, quality and experience of the team showed through.

A great result given the circumstances.
