I would prefer to play Mahrez ahead of Raheem for this one, Raheem just doesnt perform at Klanfield. Yes yes yes I know Razza is the better player and in form, but Mahrez wont be fazed by the atmosphere and can be akward and unpredictable for them to handle.

One positive is that Pep and the players should be more determined to beat the candleholders than any other team right now. Pep is someone who chases perfection, and they've been a thorn in his side for the past 2 years. I expect a huge effort from the players, and a huge effort from the ref to help the dippers.

Whoa...Kieta suffered a back injury huh?

I think he's key to their success this season.

WIih their form of late somehow I am beginning to think we could nick this.

Just saw this too. Sad for him, but would be a huge difference for this game and the season.

Reading that their fans are concerned their front 3 are playing too many games and even though they have success against us will Klopp give Sturridge or Shaqiri a start.

I don't think he will. Not a chance unless he has to.

Not sure about this, BBC said in his 19 minutes on the pitch "he had 7 passes and gave the ball away 5 times".

Difficult one, he's got so many options.

Players very often do well against their former clubs, Sturridge did well in his cameo against Chelsea, and he only came on in the 90th minute against Napoli.
Our team selection will be much easier to predict.

We could not have asked for better results mid-week with our confidence buoyed by a hard fought comeback and theirs hopefully damaged by a loss and poor performance.

Nick it? We'll either piss all over them or suffer another sequence of self-destructive calamities combined with the odd offside goal.

Be good to see Shakira get a start. Not been in the limelight much lately

We lose to the dippers because they overrun us in midfield. They press us into mistakes. If we can sort that out then we have a chance.......... unless Atkinson steps in, giving penalties and waving his red card.

How do you insert a poll?

How many players will city still have at the end of the game? 8, 9, 10, 11

They’ll have 12 at the beginning with Atkinson

Just wondering about this 'secret route'. How secret can it be? How many options are there getting to Dipperland?

Could just get there 3 hours before kick off and not tell them. Smash the changing rooms up afterwards, piss on the seat, shit stains on the toilets. Spray "Murderers" on the wall of the changing room.

Just a few ideas.

I actually think Sterling has matured hugely this season as a player and I do believe he is capable of playing there and being unfazed by the dippers, possibly even revelling in it.
We are a better team with him in it. He should play.

I dont really have a penchant for predicting lineups but I would not be at all surprised if Salah is benched for Sturridge with Firmino moving to the wing. say what you will about Sturridge but he's come up with the goals--big goals--for them recently.

And I also think that not having Ox this year is a big blow for them, which is good.

Interesting how several media sources are going big on how our coach was lawlessly smashed up and Merseyside Police did absolutely fuck all except cover it all up and try to sweep it under the carpet . Why didn’t the same media sources go big at the time though ? strange !?!?!
