MotM v Burnley

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Oct 20, 2018 3:58 pm

They went for Mahrez at the ground and don't have to many complaints but there were some real performances from a few of the others.

Some good displays today, but went for Fern1. Thought he pulled all the strings, controlled the midfield and was everywhere and a great goal too

I thought he had a good game but there was some criticism in the match thread so wasn't sure if seen the same thing.

He must spaced a couple of passes in the first half but got better as the game went on. I thought Dave was superb and Mendy and Mahrez had really good games too. Gone for big Dave.

I didn't think there was a stand-out candidate, quite a few good in patches, but voted for Mahrez to wind people up ;) ;)

I thought there were quite a few like that, all part of coming back from them not playing together for a couple of weeks.

I think we have a bargain in Mahrez. The way he is starting to play is looking great for us, his finishing is scary, been here a few months wow!!

I agree. I also really love how he looks like a cunt as well.

Mahrez was constant throughout. He has turned a corner I think. His goal capped a deserved motm performance.

Mahrez. Firstly it’s the first time he’s fit in with our system and looked part of the team. Second he actually went past his player to the byline a few times and didn’t just continue to cut onto his left and shoot, the choice now for fullbacks hasn’t quite so easy. 3rd his diagonal balls were seriously sweet. Lastly his goal was fucking mint. Couldn’t ask much more really.
Tracking back is overrated.

I gave it to Fern just over Mahrez. I thought the whole team had a good day, to be honest. And let's not forget Peaky Blinders doing a good job a right-back.
