Pretty sure the news will filter through eventually the owner and his family will be announced as dying in the crash.

i reckon that there’s a chance that players were on there - capacity of 20 and headed for london.

Really hope not.

Families won't want to find about fatalities on the news, the authorities will try to let the families know first you would imagine.

Correct. Any injuries/fatalaties have to be informed to the Next of Kin prior to being released to the public. The media abide by this now after getting a slating for a previous incident.

Just horrendous though.

I know in this day of shock and awe, that picture suffices but, fuck me, that is wrong. This is not a Lethal Weapon film set, that is real.

Like your work JC but if people want to see those graphics, give them the choice mate.

Sorry if the photo is upsetting, it's from the first BBC report but mods please take it down. (or NT in his quote)

Spanish and French press now reporting the owner, his daughter and 3 others have died.

Looking at Sky this morning, there's been no confirmation of any names, as yet.

BBC saying the chairman was on board, but saying nothing else for time being, head of fire and rescue asking for privacy having just left a multi agency emergency meeting.

Really sad days for them, I hope all ends well.

A bit strange to be honest, with all the silence around this. I think it is the biggest tragedy the league saw in the last 25 years?

Sam Fisher, BBC News, at the King Power Stadium: “There has been a steady flow of people wearing Leicester City shirts and hats this morning. Despite the number of fans gathered here, it’s very quiet.

Lots of children are also here with their parents laying flowers outside the ground.

“Many people have been in tears as they approach stadium and they’ve all been consoling each other.”

really don’t get why people do this. go on your own, leave your kids out of it.

Percentage wise helicopter travel has got to be extremely high risk. The only way you'll get me in one is if I happen to be rescued.

A tragic end to an amazing story. The more you hear about the owner the more you realise what LCFC achieved is ROY OF THE ROVERS STUFF... RIP.

i doubt that it will be the end of the story
i imagine that his son (and the rest of the family) will want to make leicester an even bigger success than they already have as a tribute to him.
