Helicopter Crash | Kingpower Stadium

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Oct 27, 2018 8:13 pm

Just got in and seen there's breaking news of a helicopter crash at the Kingpower Stadium. Apparently the owner flies out from the centre spot after their games.

Not looking good.

Nothing mentioned yet but if they'd escaped you'd think it would be reported very early, to allieve any anxiety. Also, not seen anything if there were any people in or around the crash zone at the time as it looks like it came down in the staff car park, where there would've been a few leaving the stadium at the time.

It says it took off the from the pitch, which it does after every home game, it's not looking good.

I assume it lands after the game and warm down to collect the owner and his entourage?

Apparently up to 20 people are transported after each game. Hard to imagine surviving that. Awful

I’m 99% certain anyone on that helicopter is dead. Horrendous.

Pretty sure the news will filter through eventually the owner and his family will be announced as dying in the crash.

i reckon that there’s a chance that players were on there - capacity of 20 and headed for london.

Families won't want to find about fatalities on the news, the authorities will try to let the families know first you would imagine.
