I heard a rumor last night but it’s serious sounding so wouldn’t want to put it out without any real info. If true it’s pretty horrible.

The rumour is that he's a nonce, nothing whatsoever to back that up yet but that's the reason people are distancing themselves.

I heard that he's pleaded guilty in open court (to some form of noncery - don't know the specifics) and that the sentencing is on November 5. people who have held their tongues will probably open up once it's official.

I like that page and a load of nonsense appeared over the weekend.

Didnt realise it was just one bloke assumed it was a few blokes.

Be a pity if it goes as its #1 for city info on the internet.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were loads of writers involved, but they all jumped ship at the same time when whatever it is came out.

The Cityzen Abroad (error before: not American Cityzen) podcast dedicated a few minutes to discuss this last week on one of their episodes and did some journalistic research to find out what may be going on.

He then revealed that he spoke with several of the former CityWatch staff who had all announced right before the Burnley game that they were leaving the website.

Those former staff effectively informed him that there are serious criminal charges that are likely to be held against someone of importance at CityWatch. They even indicated that this is likely to come out in the news.

It’s interesting because it was a few years ago that the 9320 pod came about and 1 wonders if they also had inclinations of something amiss as well, or experienced things that could be a sign of a serious problem. Who knows if it’s related as I don’t wish to spread rumors, but it’s hard to ignore or forget.

All the writers who have left should just set up a new one and we can all get on with our lives of enjoying city news!

"About
City Watch logo II
Everyone has a passion. For those involved with City Watch, it is Manchester City. More specifically, covering our great Club and delivering engaging content to fans around the world.

In the summer of 2011, founder Stuart (bloostu) was ill for a time and being a social media nut decided to put his spare time to use. At the time, City was already setting the standard on social media with all kinds of cool and innovative content, but there was a dearth of unofficial coverage of Manchester City news. And so City Watch was born. Originally focusing on the news and transfers of an eventful summer that saw the great Kun Agüero join the Blue revolution, match coverage and other features followed during what was a truly memorable season.

After four years of exponential growth into Twitter’s biggest unofficial City account, it was time for a hiatus and rethink. In late 2015, the decision was made that City Watch would expand beyond Twitter to other platforms and open its doors to new contributors after for so long being a one-man gig. That led to the creation of this website, a big project that will forever be a work in progress as we aim to deliver the most high quality and insightful coverage of Manchester City news possible.

Authenticity and honesty are important to us. We like to be transparent in how we are run and welcome any questions. City Watch has costs and takes a great deal of time to run, so you may find ads, promos or collaborations. These are necessities, not what motivates us. Our love for Manchester City is what drives us to do what we do.

Other than spending most of our lives obsessing over it, City Watch is in no way affiliated with Manchester City FC."

He's on XS Manchester now. Plus he makes match day vlogs for the official mancity.com site.
