I heard a rumor last night but it’s serious sounding so wouldn’t want to put it out without any real info. If true it’s pretty horrible.

The rumour is that he's a nonce, nothing whatsoever to back that up yet but that's the reason people are distancing themselves.

I heard that he's pleaded guilty in open court (to some form of noncery - don't know the specifics) and that the sentencing is on November 5. people who have held their tongues will probably open up once it's official.

There's a rumour our 18/19 Citycards are finally going to arrive. That may be it

I like that page and a load of nonsense appeared over the weekend.

Didnt realise it was just one bloke assumed it was a few blokes.

There were loads of writers involved, but they all jumped ship at the same time when whatever it is came out.

The Cityzen Abroad (error before: not American Cityzen) podcast dedicated a few minutes to discuss this last week on one of their episodes and did some journalistic research to find out what may be going on.

He then revealed that he spoke with several of the former CityWatch staff who had all announced right before the Burnley game that they were leaving the website.

Those former staff effectively informed him that there are serious criminal charges that are likely to be held against someone of importance at CityWatch. They even indicated that this is likely to come out in the news.

It’s interesting because it was a few years ago that the 9320 pod came about and 1 wonders if they also had inclinations of something amiss as well, or experienced things that could be a sign of a serious problem. Who knows if it’s related as I don’t wish to spread rumors, but it’s hard to ignore or forget.

All the writers who have left should just set up a new one and we can all get on with our lives of enjoying city news!

Cheers for that! Been looking up City Extra and didn't know of the spelling difference.
