Kevin Crocked?

ImageAlthough it's some consolation it's an injury to his left knee, rather than the one that's just kept him out for two months, I fear this is a bad one.

No pictures of him leaving the ground last night - which suggests he was again in a brace - and I fully expect a flight to Dr Cugat today.

The reason for my forboding and this alarmist thread, is that he was squashed by the rag thug on the touchline but went down in the centre of the pitch clutching his knee after he tried to run off the pain. This is worryingly reminscent of the pattern of the Gundogan and Mendy ligament injuries - both got up, tried to play on and then limped off.

He certainly did, Sane when asked last March who his toughest opponent was said

"Crystal Palace’s right-back Timothy Fosu-Mensah, I have played against him twice this season, and even last season, he had me really well under control and I told him how happy I was to play against him.”

OS Report:
Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne suffered knee ligament damage in his left knee during Thursday night’s Carabao Cup fourth-round win over Fulham. The Belgian underwent scans on Friday at the CFA. No surgery is needed but he is expected to be out for between 5-6 weeks.
