FIFA Open New Investigation into Man City

"Fifa has launched an investigation into allegations that Manchester City have broken rules banning third-party ownership through their relationship with Danish club FC Nordsjaelland.
A report in Danish newspaper Politiken yesterday claimed that City signed a contract with Nordsjaelland in May 2016 giving them the right to recruit any player produced by the club’s Right to Dream Academy in Ghana for the next four years.
The contract allegedly states that “in case Manchester City wants to sign one of FC Nordsjaelland’s African talents [they] shall be obliged to use its best endeavours to effect the transfer,” which if accurate could be interpreted as third-party influence over a fellow European club. FIFA banned third party ownership in 2015 and has sanctioned several major clubs for breaching rulers.
