Even tourists should know better than to have one on at the derby.

Utterly pointless things. Why would anyone see fit to buy one is beyond my comprehension.

I saw four people wearing them outside the East Stand, none of whom looked like they had been to a game here before.

See a few of them at every game in 93:20, which is kind of expected in there as it's full of day trippers. It's rampant up and down the country and just another sad facet of the modern game.

I am okay for a lot of them, I have some of them from European games, but FFS who would be caught dead in a rag/city scarf?

I suppose you could burn half?
Trouble is, these guys balance the books these days.
Most of us remember when nobody except us silly deluded cunts wanted to watch us. These people want to watch us, to be there.
Goes with the territory unfortunately, give the poor lambs a break

Football memorabilia for non-football fans.
I'm sure the money is useful for whoever is making it.

I nipped out 10 minutes early from the final whistle to get one yesterday. Beat the queues for it, just walked straight up to the guy no messing.

Do the club produce these, or do they just do it for European games?

I saw a girl in Mary D’s after in one and thought the same thing. Get that shit away.

It's usually the people outside the ground that sell them - nothing to do with the club. That's where I got mine from anyway.

I've definitely seen these on sale in the club shop - they had ones for previous European games at heavily reduced prices. I think it was after the Celtic CL game a few seasons back that I saw them.

Maybe the club shop could produce a scarf that was half city and half blank, so you could write the appropriate opponent in felt tip yourself for each game

I usually avoid buying even a shirt with someone's name on it. Football is weird and would hate to throw it. Well, except the one with Zaba. That is going to be importal.
