What Southgate is trying to do with young players is commendable, but we really need quality in midfield. If Bernardo was English...…..

Rashford as well. Kane is amazing. Basically had a shit game but then somehow, through a bit of iffy control, pokes the ball through for the equaliser, then squeezes home the winner and gets MotM.

Dier the only one who plays up to his name. How the hell does he keep getting selected?

Ireland v N.Ireland was like Brexit.
No body won, neither side made any progress and the few people watching soon got bored.

I see they lost 5-2, was he to blame for any of the goals?

Did the ref book him for handball for the og? Surely you let that slide or else you give the penalty and send him off.

1st goal was a pen and Kompany fell on the floor and missed his challenge...second goal he lost his man at the far post (criminal defending ) their 3rd goal he wasn't even in a defending position..as the goal went in he just came running into the penalty area.......4th goal he just watched it being headed in.....and the 5th one he also just watched it go in. (He watched all 5 go in )

Seriously...he was fuckign ubber ubber wank.

P.S PeP - do not play VK in any game unless we are 5 nil up, thanks.

That account of Mr K's role in the goals lacks verisimilitude

Have a look at The Guardian's ratings for the game and it's quite baffling what Jacob Steinberg (West Ham fan, who I usually like) was thinking:

https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... om-wembley

He gave Dier a 7 and Stones, who created one of the comeback goals, a 5. Delph who has gotten a lot of praise for his performance, was given a 6.

Deffo worried about this one.

I think we will be okay with Gundo though. He looked good in the derby, and could mean more time for Foden as well.
