We need always to remember who the journalists were who set out to destroy us - their ugly true colours have been clearly revealed in recent weeks and a few of the most virulent deserve their own threads on here - which I'll oblige them with in due course- in the meantime here's the rogues gallery

It’s alright Ronay and Hattenstone in the Gruniard have leap on board - we have been brainwashed to the appalling treatment of Matt Hedges due to our owners being from UAE - it seems that Ronay realises Piers Morgan started something on social media but that doesn’t fit his argument so it gets a mention in passing after he’s accused City fans of being blind. Hattenstone does his normal rant about being a City fan but hating our owners. What they both fail to understand is that this is modern football, with questionable owners everywhere. I’m not blind to Hedges appalling treatment but equally it’s not our owners fault.

Why indeed, in a country where we have military bases and considered a friend - seems to be an odd target to spy on. Even if he is guilty I find the solitary confinement and lack of consulate involvement questionable in terms of his treatment.
