I can see it happening. It’s where players want to live as well. Only need to be in manchetser once or twice every two weeks.

Not the worst idea I’ve ever heard. We have to play 10 games in the PL season alone in that region and then there are potential cup games and finals to contend with.
Bring it on. Just another innovative thing regarding our training set up that would be the envy of our rivals

That thought had crossed my mind too.
Also, are there rules about how far kids have to travel to be in the training academy? Is it something like an hours drive? If so then having a second CFA in London means we can then cherrypick some of the best young talent in the south of England as well

I'm quite sure our owner knows what he is doing.
He'll make a profit there.

No Mase.
Only s matter of time before the whole shebang gets moved to London.
We’ll be playing our home games there in the CWC competition.

I don't really buy into that idea that we can't attract players due to the N.E of England factor. It hasn't stopped us or United signing superstars. If you are that rich as most of our players are, there is nothing stopping you hiring a private jet to London or as Sergio did, to Amsterdam for a night out.
A building in London for the first team squad to use as a second home for games down south, not too mention for our operations team and a training facility to attract kids who don't want to move North and leave home at an early age is not a terrible idea.
I do however see why clubs like Newcastle are looking at it, if you are going to play at a certain level, given the money is equal, I chose to play for Fulham over Newcastle purely on the London factor.

'The London Factor' another myth created by Ferguson's regime, it was only ever an excuse when Utd lost out on a transfer battle with a London club.

I wouldn't care if we built a training ground in the Gaza Strip if it helped the greatest team the Premiership has ever seen get even better and dominate the league for the next decade.

Wouldn't really have a problem with it as long as it was just a place for all city teams to stay / train immediately before matches in London or surrounding areas.
In fact it would be a good idea.
If the suggestion is that the players are fulltime based in London and only travel to Manchester for home games.
Well that will fly like a lead balloon.
