23 yr old keeper from colombus crew being linked with a jan move
never heard of him so surprised that a fee approaching £10m is being talked about. doesn’t seem any better or more experienced that (home grown) angus gunn?
worse still will be an influx of american fan boys (yeeehaaaa!) if he signs - isaksson all over again...wonder what roadkill2487 is up to these days? he was one weird cunt

He'll most likely go out on loan. He doesn't automatically qualify for a work permit and I don't think he will get an exception for special talent. Also its £5.5m rising to £7.8m the $10m you keep hearing is in US dollars.

Good shot stopper, he's alright with with the ball at his feet. He just won MLS keeper of the year. Honestly I was surprised when this was first reported, I just don't see him fitting into a Pep team. I don't understand this or the last American we brought in Mix Diskerud.

So the latest is the deal has been agreed and if he doesn't get a work permit he will go on loan to Nice.

Sounds like a CFG signing rather than a City signing.

Never understood how if someone doesn’t get a work permit for England, they can get one in another EU country

All EU countries set their own immigration laws for non EU citizens.

Never understood myself how any footballer gets refused a work permit over here. All that money in taxes and money spent here, it's hardly like they are going to be claiming benefits.

Don't worry this transfer won't move the needle in America. Now Pulisic to Chelsea is a different matter if that deal goes through. Everyone over here wearing Dortmund kits will switch to Chelsea.

I don't ever see him breaking into the starting lineup, but he's a great keeper. Will be the US number 1 for the next 10 years most likely

Nowhere near Ederson’s level, but yes he can pass.
